How can we design it to meet the wind load requirements?
Are there any unique details that are required for long term watertight success?
Will the roof be subjected to above normal traffic? Should consideration be made the use of textured membrane for better traction?
Will the roof be subjected to above normal traffic? Should consideration be made to enhance the roof for abuse resistance?
Will the roof require solar PV installation and how will the design accommodate it?
Are aesthetics important? Should a coloured membrane or the look of a metal roof be considered?
Is a green roof being considered? If so, is the design based upon intensive or extensive vegetative assembly?
These are just a few topics that should be addressed in a thorough specification and details.
